Preventing Condensation
Condensation on a window is generally an indicator that indoor humidity levels are too high. This needs to be addressed quickly, otherwise, condensation can stimulate mold growth, causing the windows to not function properly.

There are a number of easy ways to fix this:

Regular metal spacers allow condensation in cold weather.

Super-Spacer® eliminates condensation in cold weather.

1. Open the windows as much as possible to allow the humidity to escape or purchase a dehumidifier which greatly reduces the humidity inside a home.

2. Vent clothes dryers, gas burners, etc. to the outdoors.

3. Use kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans.

4. Air out the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room during and after use by opening a window for a few minutes.
