Armor produces superior quality windows and doors in its ltramodern 125,000 sq.ft. manufacturing plant, which is equipped with the latest technology. Located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, our facility produces our windows and doors using the most recent processes, thus upholding our dedication to manufacturing excellence.

At Armor, we are committed to fabricating top-quality products and rejecting those with even the smallest defects. Our quality-driven process and numerous checkpoints throughout the production phase guarantee the excellence of our finished products.

Armor timeline

  • 1974

    The De Marco first generation family begins manufacturing aluminium windows.

  • 1982

    Armor is one of the first Canadian companies to market vinyl windows.

  • 1994

    The De Marco second generation family begins producing greenhouse windows and shutters.

  • 1998

    Armor fully expands its line of vinyl windows.

  • 2000

    Armor launches a large dealer expansion strategy.

    Armor shutters are produced in 24 plants worldwide.

  • 2001

    Growing factory moves to Langstaff Road location.

    Armor develops a Private Label program.

  • 2002

    In-house painting, glass manufacturing and custom bending are added to the production line.

  • 2003

    Shutter business is sold to Hunter Douglas.

  • 2004

    New standards are established. Armor decides to focus on vinyl windows.

  • 2005

    Double lift-out sliders and interior laminate colours are added to the product line.

  • 2006

    Window options are expanded and Simply Clean® glass is introduced.

    Advantage P Glass is introduced.

  • 2007

    Private Label program is expanded.

  • 2008

    A new line of brickmoulds is introduced, including cap and contour brickmoulds.

    Triple glass and grills are launched.

    Electronic program is implemented in Quebec.

  • 2009

    Armor improves the performance of its windows by adding a flexible seal with couplers and a foam casing.

    A new line of Simulated divided lites is added.

    A new patio door program is launched in the fall.

    Platinum series of windows become CSA-certified.

  • 2010

    Armor launches its online quoting and ordering system using WTS Paradigm System.
