Our windows are tested according to National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) standards by Keystone Certifications Inc. – a NFRC licensed Inspection Agency (IA). The NFRC is a non-profit organization that establishes nationally-recognized, objective window, door, and skylight energy performance ratings to help you compare products and make informed purchase decisions.

In January of 2014, the National Building Code of Canada adopted the North American Fenestration Standards’ AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-08 minimum performance requirement, which you should become familiar with if you are buying windows and doors in Canada. To satisfy this requirement, each of Armor’s window configurations is tested for air leakage, water infiltration, structural loading and forced entry.  Armor Series windows have scored some of the highest results under this new standard.
